Core to the success of our Agencies is the support and development they receive from our Regional Sales teams, enabling them to deliver on their ambitious business plans. We are hungry to build on this success and continue to grow, and to support this we’ve recently announced some key changes within our Regional Sales teams.
The Role To support our growth and increase the strength and quality of our network we’re expanding our Sales Management population, creating a more focused and strategic offering. This means we’re looking for commercially focused sales leaders to help us achieve this.
In this role, you will work with a panel of our Agencies, within your region, overseeing and influencing 1 and 3 year business plans. You will support your Agency panel in delivering and embedding change and building effective operating models. Playing a key role in enabling our ambitious growth plans through effective sales management, in order to deliver across our full range of products and services.
Alongside the above, you will build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders and relevant departments as well as the Farming Unions.
Person Specification You’ll be a commercially minded individual, with demonstrable experience of developing strategic business plans and a proven track record of delivering sales results through others. Ideally with experience gained in the General Insurance arena, or comparable regulated industry you’ll have successfully managed a remote team, branch network or multi-site operation.
Most importantly, you will be able to challenge, drive, motivate and inspire others to achieve positive business outcomes.
We welcome applicants of graduate calibre and if you hold ACII then even better.
Qualifications/Other • Graduate calibre 
• ACII preferred. Will be encouraged to complete ACII if not already qualified.
Experience and Knowledge:
• Experience of developing, leading, managing and motivating a remote team 
• Experience of developing and delivering strategic business plans 
• Experience of managing a business to business relationship 
• Delivery of sales targets through others 
• Proven experience of managing sales performance 
• Strong Relationship Management skills 
• Experience of working within a Financial Services, regulated sales environment
