The Digital Applications Team is made up of multi-disciplined individuals developing a range of solutions from web, mobile and cloud using Microsoft and Open Source technologies.
Our digital, data and technology specialists work with internal teams in NECS and external customers to drive forward the technology agenda within health and care and is key to NECS’ strategic plan. This focus means that we are currently looking to grow our digital services team.

We are seeking a determined individual to join us as a Digital Applications Development Lead, overseeing the technical implementation of a range of web and mobile solutions based out of our headquarter office in Durham or Teesside. If you have the passion, drive and technical skills to lead the development of patient, operational and management solutions then this could be the role for you.
As a Lead .Net Web Developer you will have joint responsibility for requirements gathering, meeting face-to-face with business customers, managing projects, and ensuring standards and quality are kept to a high level and spending a significant proportion of time developing solutions including writing and testing code.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to plan and structure their work from concept, through specification, coding and final testing - whilst considering the real-time needs of the business. Being flexible enough to react to the rapidly changing demands of their operation is essential, therefore the ideal developer will be able to think quickly, plan carefully and be able to rapidly deploy robust, well-tested solutions.
