The nurses on the front line of Hampshire County Councils Adults Health and Care service do so much more than care, they transform lives. Our nurses are caregivers, advocates and true heroes of healthcare.
We are currently offering opportunities for passionate and dedicated nurses to join the team at our brand-new facility, Clarence Unit at Woodcot Lodge. Located in the historic naval town of Gosport, Clarence Unit is a unique discharge service that supports hospital leavers either return home with a package of care, or on to a residential setting.
Surrounded by a well-resourced multi-disciplinary team, you will be fully supported in your determination to provide the highest quality care to our services users.
We’re looking for a Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number, knowledge of National Standards and NMC code of practice. Not to mention a background in person centred care planning within a care home. Beyond that, it’s all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. You’ll be a great mentor who can manage time effectively and keep meaningful records. And, whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind.
You will have a proven track record of working with older people with complex care requirements, ideally within a hospital or clinical setting. You will deliver the very highest standard of care as you assess nursing needs, identify and taking the right interventions for every resident who needs you. You’ll also supervise colleagues, manage shifts and make sure flawless handover summaries are completed to ensure continuity of care. Above all, it’s about ensuring our residents are at the heart of everything you do.
Full COVID-19 vaccination status will be required as a condition of employment.
Recent legislation now mandates that anyone working in a CQC registered care home, which includes all regulated services
in HCC Care, and those visiting in a professional capacity, must be fully vaccinated (MHRA approved) by 11 November 2021.
