UrbanThings have a unique opportunity for a multi-talented individual to turbo-charge the prospects for TicketlessTM, our smart ticketing platform and app that’s powering millions of journeys and delighting transport operators with game-changing data.

You’ll be taking ownership of our brand presence across numerous digital channels. You’ll execute lead generation strategies to seek out and qualify new leads across multiple market segments, meeting ambitious targets. These will involve the running of digital advertising campaigns, content generation, social media activity and direct outreach to potential customers by email, phone and other channels.

You’re an excellent and enthusiastic communicator across all channels – you know how to craft engaging, targeted marketing copy with a professional tone, attention to key messages and appropriate calls to action. You can work on your own initiative and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, reaching out directly to potential leads where necessary and building early stage relationships as you seek to understand requirements and generate demand for our disruptive tech platform and product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all aspects of lead generation and qualification.
  • Work closely with the sales team on lead generation projects, including targeting existing and new market segments via digital campaigns and events.
  • Qualifying potential leads via email, telephone and other channels; building great relationships from the ground up; handing off to the sales team for conversion.
  • Manage UrbanThings digital presence, including website content, social media strategy and brand identity.
  • Create and maintain our marketing portfolio, including case studies, blogs and product brochures; liaise with Customer Success manager for product information.
  • Report key statistics and KPI’s to the senior management team.


  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • 2+ years relevant previous experience in B2B marketing and/or early stage sales
  • Proven ability to generate and qualify new leads, ideally having met targets
  • Commitment to continuous self-improvement
  • Experience in SaaS and/or mobility tech a plus, but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
