Youll support a Delivery Unit Planning team in the production of plans. Those plans and a range of related activities youll carry out will enable our maintenance, repair and renewal teams to make a difference to the network. Youll help to ensure that a difference is made in the right way, in the right place, at the right time.
Youll submit and process a variety of planning requests. Youll help to produce plans and schedules for personnel and resources. And youll keep our systems and records up to date. Well look to you for support in making the best use of available resources, so we can do the best job possible. Taking a flexible approach, youll always be ready to support changes to plans or respond to emergencies. Along the way, youll communicate with a wide range of people, to make sure plans come together.
· Knowledge of access planning processes and systems
· Knowledge of relevant standards and procedures
· Knowledge of the operational railway environment
· Highly organised
· A good communicator
· Familiar with the geography of Britain
