- processing starters and leavers
- processing tax codes changes, student loans and other HMRC notifications
- processing statutory payments and variations to payslips
- producing the final Payroll report for review by Payroll Manager prior to submission
- liaising with Payroll Manager to ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
- managing the auto-enrolment communication via pension system, where necessary
- production and submission of monthly reports to HMRC regarding Payroll
- producing of P11Ds
- assisting the Payroll Manager in reviewing current systems to ensure they are fit for purpose
The essential requirements of the temporary payroll officer are:
- 1/2yrs Payroll experience
- Ability to process Gross to Net manual calculations
- MS Office Proficiency incl Outlook, Excel & Word
