We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Executive to come and join our Kettleby Foods site in Melton Mowbray.

Job Opportunity

The Commercial Executive – will support the commercial team with day to day customer management responsibilities. With strong support, mentoring and coaching you will gradually assume account management responsibilities and start a journey to increase your commercial awareness and abilities and move towards commercial manager role.

You will work closely with the commercial manager and support by ensuring all customer data is downloaded and converted into a business update providing insights across the key performance metrics (sales, margin, waste, service etc).

You will complete administrative tasks such as forecasting, customer online portal (new lines forms, promotions, invoices) and other internal documentation such as Gate Zero’s.

The purpose of this role is to form a strong administrative link within the business and also into the customer ensuring that information is updated and shared but you will also perform a key role in internal meetings such as S&OP and the gate process.

The Right Person

You will be someone who is self-motivated and focussed on the customer. You will demonstrate initiative and ownership. You value others and their contribution and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues. You will be flexible and adaptable to change. In addition, you will have the following skills:

  • Degree education or equivalent preferred.
  • Food experience preferred but not essential.
  • Competent with all major software packages.
  • Strong leadership potential with good interpersonal and communications kills with the ability to communicate cross functionally and external customers.
  • Strong organisational, and project management skills to assist with deadline delivery
  • Able to manage and present data to a wider audience in a format that is easy to understand the objective clearly translates.
  • Able to effectively time manage priorities and workloads as well as working to tight deadlines.
  • Hardworking and passionate with an eye for detail and strong can-do attitude.
