Main Duties


Reassured Ltd is the largest non-advised life insurance intermediary in the UK with established locations in Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bristol, Brighton & Manchester. We arrange over 15,000 new customer life insurance policies per month with leading sales conversions and customer satisfaction metrics. The business is outbound, B2C sales from internet generated customer enquiries.

Job Requirements:

Responsible for maintaining the company’s monthly reporting dataset and related financial reporting and analysis.

Develop and improve efficiency of existing reports in order to streamline month end processes and reporting deadlines

Detailed analytical work on KPI and performance metric for monthly operational reporting

In-depth financial modelling and forecasting

Reviewing and improving processes, controls and procedures

A solutions provider - Identify problems and resolve root causes

Working with operational staff to build and design financial models

Working with commercial finance manager on ad hoc project and data analysis

Essential Knowledge:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualification

Advanced Excel

Experience using large datasets and BI packages

Financial modelling and forecasting

Essential Experience:

Worked in one of the following roles: Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Finance Lead / Commercial Accountant / FP&A / FP & A / Analyst / Financial Planning and Analyst / Financial Planning and Analysis

Production and refining of monthly management account processes

Budgeting and forecasting

Experience delivering high quality financial analysis, and an ability to communicate findings

Key Competencies

  • Detailed and accurate in order to produce high quality reporting – and can be evidenced
  • Ability to understand and interpret data
  • Use of best practice financial modelling techniques to remove user inputs
  • Ability to understand output and end users of reports in order to develop robust new reports
