An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Secretary & Receptionist to join this established firm of Chartered Accountants in North-West London.

The Role

As front-of-house, you will be the first face any visitors to the office encounter. You will project a professional image in-person and through phone interaction and provide general administrative support to a team of 10 professionals and our clients. The role requires a dynamic, organised and tech-loving individual.

The Office

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Answering the telephone
  • Liaising with clients in the UK and abroad, by email and telephone
  • Typing letters, reports and professional documents
  • Company incorporations, dealing with related appointments, share issues…etc
  • Client on-boarding, maintaining client databases using software packages and disbursement management
  • Carrying out all reception duties, being the first point of contact for clients and handling post with the assistance of a PA
  • Identifying delivery process improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PA and secretarial skills, including accurate typing and experience with MS Windows and Word (including MailMerge)
  • Understanding of company statutory requirements, including books and records
  • Understanding of procedures relating to client engagement and billing
  • Smart and professional demeanour
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Previous experience in secretarial or administrative role in accountancy or law firm preferred
