Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA's distributor in Europe, which sells to Hasbro SA's customers in all major European countries. Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') is Hasbro SA's distributor for Direct/FOB sales in Europe. Hasbro UK Ltd ('the Company') provides sales, marketing and other services to HET and HIT in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Brand Manager
Location: London, UK
Main Purpose of the role
- Lead your brand portfolio, through marketing plans and marketing activities execution in line with global / regional brand strategies and sales/profit guidelines
- Support Marketing Manager/Snr Brand Manager, if needed
Brand Management
- Participate in cross functional groups to ensure brand objectives are achieved
- Develop and recommend local marketing plans for brands, for Hasbro SA approval in accordance with Global Marketing strategies including party / pulse activation. Assure brand objectives are achieved
- Range selection, planning and support of channel strategy. Input into pricing recommendations
- Presentation of brand marketing plans at relevant events
- Develop strong relationships/partnerships and work collaboratively with:

- + Sales teams - to ensure the brand Go To Market execution is delivered in line with HET/HIT strategy
- Specialists (Media, Communications, Omni Channel)- to brief on the consumer Go To Market strategy and ensuring their implementation
- Operations- to ensure Product Management deliverables o Key licensees and Key Licensors
- Global Brad Team / Regional Marketing Team
- Work closely with Consumer Products Team to maximise opportunities for Hasbro SA approved branded play strategies (for relevant brands)
- Partnering with Specialists to deliver Globally aligned communication plans, in line with Hasbro SA strategy, leveraging Global Asset
- Partner with Specialists to deliver Go To Market execution tools - based on communications brief, review recommendations and monitor execution including advertising development, editing and play-out, digital activity and PR plans
- SOX compliance for all Marketing activities
- Input into Sales Analysis Review (Forecast Meeting) with volumes and phasing specifications. Support close out decisions
- Analyse sales data based on Business Intelligence profile input and NPD/GFK data, monitoring item and brand performance to ensure its tracking to the financial targets. Creating proposals to maximize high-performing or rectify slow-moving items/brands.
- Create and present brand strategy to key customers
- Work in collaboration with the Marketing Teams in Europe to assure best practice sharing
- Adaption of advertising material; development and execution of national campaigns
- Management of owned platform / .com / social / club
Budget and Inventory Management
- Make recommendations and understand the full spend behind brand activity and ensure it complies with Hasbro SAs top-down profitability targets
- Work closely with Retail & Inventory Planning dept. to manage forecasting/ inventory and SAR meetings for category in line with Hasbro SA strategy
- Monitor ongoing media plan vs stock availability and performance
Qualifications required
- Educated to degree level, ideally in Business or Marketing disciplines
Experience required
- Experience in a Sales or Marketing commercial environment ยท Experienced in delivering and evaluating effective plans, products and marketing communications programmes as part of a team
