Tuition and intervention teaching roles are going to be in high demand next academic year to help pupils catch up on valuable lesson time they have missed out on and schools will need specific subject tutors to do this!
We will have opportunities for QTS teachers and those who do not hold QTS but have an Science degree and/or recent experience of tutoring Science up to GCSE.
The tutoring roles will be full or part-time depending on the schools needs.
You will be responsible for running 1-1 and small group tuition sessions within the school and must be confident in assessing pupils and planning lessons accordingly. You will also need to work well as part of the Science department’s team.
As an Science Tutor working for Academics you will need:
* To have a degree in Science and/or QTS
* Have a can-do attitude and be able to hit the ground running
* Have recent experience within a school setting or tutoring KS3/KS4 pupils on a 1-1 or small group basis
* Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to get one
