Purpose of Position:
To be the Brand Manager for BLACK + DECKER, focusing on the Powertools and Household category, ensuring the vision and identity of the brand is replicated across all platforms and channels in the EMEA ANZ region.
Develop NPD launch materials to support all regions within EMEA ANZ.
Support the creation and implementation of region-wide Brand/Product campaigns, ensuring all assets adhere to Global and Media Guidelines.
As a guardian of our brand you must ensure an end user focus remains at the forefront of everything we do. This will require navigating internal challenges to ensure we always do the right thing for our end user.
Own and develop launch packages to support NPD launches.
Includes online & offline assets (Photography, video, e-Comm content, email, website, social media, POS, merchandising and retailer specific assets).
Lead the planning and ideation of monthly Social Media plan.
Work across functions with digital marketing team, graphic design team, agencies and all local markets to create social media posts ensuring all content supports the brand’s social media strategy.
Channel-specific asset creation.
Ensure content creation is optimised for specific channels (FB, Instagram, YT, ecomm) and not generic.
Work with regional marketing contacts to realise & develop assets to support sales.
Development of customer-specific ecommerce content, new in store executions, adaptation of existing materials and more.
Focus on increasing data capture of marketable end users (MEU’s).
Ensure data capture is high quality and actionable.
Work with Product Management Team to approve new packaging designs and ensure brand consistency.
Local EMEA ANZ Marketing Teams:
Must build relationships with various marketing functions across all 5 Cluster regions (over 25 countries). Understanding each individual region is crucial to success and forms a major part of the role.
Digital Marketing Team:
Work closely with subject matter experts on social media planning, data analytics, reporting, SEO, customer personas, digital platforms (web, PIM, DAM) and more.
These relationships include account management teams, producers, creative teams, photographers, videographers and editors. You need to be able to clearly communicate a brief and follow it through to completion.
Counterparts across the Global Customer Experience (GCX) team:
Clear communication and regular sharing with teams across North America, Latin America and Asia allows us to increase our collective output.
Product Management Team:
Must have a strong working relationship with the team. Working together from product development stage through to product launch and beyond. The relationship is crucial to communicating our products clearly to our end users.
Other internal SBD functions:
One of the great parts of this role is the wide variety of touch points within our business. Expect to liaise with people in wide ranging functions including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, IT, legal, sales and more.

Education & Experience Required:
Degree or professional marketing qualification.
Fluent in English.
Beneficial to speak any other European language.
Ability to travel:
Travel expected across Europe, possibly beyond.
Digital Marketing Experience:
Must be able to demonstrate experience working on digitally focused campaigns.
Digital marketing experience:
Ecommerce, social media, influencer marketing, website, eDM’s.
Experience developing Amazon A+ content would be advantageous.
Experience of working with external agencies.
Pan-European experience would be advantageous.
