We are currently recruiting for one of our clients in the Bromsgrove area. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you have responsibility for leading a team of nursing staff, to ensure the delivery of an excellent standard of care, which promotes independence and dignity and positively enhances the lives of individuals in their care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the skills of the care team.
  • Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care.
  • To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, CQC Standards and HSC as well as following internal policies and procedures Planning, directing and delivery of high-quality person-centred care and associated documentation such as care plans and risk assessments.
  • Undertake staff reviews and team meetings.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our patient’s needs and wishes, developing the service to enhance their quality of life and meet treatment needs.
  • Champion independence and personal choice – develop, review and update care plans to meet our patients changing physical, social, and psychological needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines – risks are proactively managed, and issues identified, investigated and resolved in partnership with local agencies and MDT.
  • Participate in the on-call rota.
  • Promote best practice and ensure implementation of NICE guidance.
  • Financially responsibility including management of petty cash.
  • Oversee all aspects of medicine management – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored, and administered to our patients.
  • Promote high standards of nursing care for you and your team, actively seeking ways to improve delivery of service.
  • Take an active role in ensuring competencies for nurses, working in conjunction with the training resources of the company to ensure that nursing staff are kept up to date with current practices and research led developments.
  • Implement innovative ways of working and support the reduction of restrictive practices.
  • Attending conference to stay informed of up to date practice, sharing information and being involved in specialist interest groups.
  • Facilitate and engage in patient and carer forums and completion of user satisfaction surveys.
  • Promoting ASC Healthcare externally and supporting the specialising of autism.
  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring the MHA and CPA processes are implemented effectively.
  • Be involved in recruitment and selection of staff when required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, carers and relatives and any external agencies.
  • Ensure daily checks and audits are completed to monitor treatment hygiene and the environment.
