The Therapy Area - Working in Haematology
There has been significant progress in the treatment of people diagnosed with blood cancers over the past 50 years. Our leadership has advanced transformative therapies for hematologic malignancies, and we are committed to continuing to lead in the evolution of our understanding and treatment of these diseases.
Not only do we have key life changing drugs in this space that have transformed the treatment landscape in this vital area of Hematologic Malignancies but we regularly receive glowing feedback from our patients and our medical community, about the significant impact and improvements in the quality of life our patients lead due to the developments we have made in this field.
Haematology is also a key development area for Janssen and we have important drugs coming through in our significant pipeline to further establish ourselves in this space.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Key Account Managers working within the rapidly growing Haematology therapy area as part of Janssen's Haematology Business Unit. The territory this position covers key Trusts across Cheltenham, Hereford, Worcester and South Wales, promoting Janssens life-changing lymphoma and myeloma products and acting as ambassador for the wider company in order to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities: Selling
Understand customer challenges and needs
Identify barriers and opportunities for Janssen products
Identify partnering opportunities for mutual customer and Janssen benefit;
Provide regional insights to line manager & the multi-disciplinary Country Value Team (CVT)
Successful completion of required training for all promoted products and training to qualify interaction with healthcare professionals (e.g. ABPI in the UK) within specified timeframe.
Working alongside a dedicated team of professionals, you have the opportunity to really put a stamp on this new role within an area of the company that is working to build a world where Leukemia and Multiple Myeloma is a thing of the past.
