We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Company Secretary

Reporting to the General Counsel, the main purpose of this role is to provide effective and efficient provision of secretariat services to the Board, its sub-committees, and a number of Executive committees. The Company Secretary plays a key role in ensuring that the business is governed effectively.
•The key responsibility of this role will be in arranging and planning all Board and committee meetings, so that they all report in accordance with corporate structure and meet deadlines, as well as producing accurate minutes, distributing reports, board papers, committee papers, agendas, presentations and correspondence to meet deadlines in hard copy, by email, board portal, Microsoft Teams or other means deemed appropriate. Additionally, to further develop the governance framework in line with beat practice and guidelines.
Other Key Accountabilities Include:
Maintaining statutory records and filing returns.
•Providing support in the discharge of General Counsel and legal and corporate governance responsibilities.
•Liaising with management regarding the provision and content of Board and Strategic Away Day documentation (where appropriate) for timely production of minutes and forwarding of all meeting papers. As required liaise and correspond effectively with non-executive directors; and Facilitating development of directors through Personal Development Plans,
•Induction of new directors and mandatory training.
