If so, our client is seeking an highly talented Embedded Software System Architect with strong experience in system architecture development and specification. In this position, you will work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver a broad range of products and solutions for use in a multitude of cases, including payments, identification, access control, healthcare of the Internet of Things (IoT).
This Embedded Software System Architect position is based in Farnborough, Hampshire and is working as part of a continually growing dynamic R&D focused business.
Key Daily duties of this Embedded Software System Architect position will include:
*System design of next generation biometric smartcard designs consisting of fingerprint sensing, biometric verification and security functions
*Work with sub-system (HW, SW, ASIC) architects and teams to develop and optimise architectures through trade-off analyses and system modelling
*Derive and manage requirements based on stakeholder requirements and system designs
*Document system designs and verify requirements compliance
*Drive system integration, validation, compliance and customer acceptance testing
*Work with customers and eco-system partners as a primary technical authority to help ensure timely design-in and acceptance of products
The right candidate for this Embedded Software System Architect job will have a combination of the following:
*Embedded Software/Firmware Development
*Bare Metal Development skills.
*Proven experience as an architect, system engineer or technical authority role
*Requirements management, system modelling, and system validation
*Use of tools such as Matlab, Excel or Python for quantitative system analysis
*Familiarity with ultra-low power embedded system design
In addition to the above, experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:
*Knowledge of low power SOC architectures or embedded SW based on an RTOS
*Security architectures based on symmetric cryptography
*Knowledge of ISO14443 technology
*Signal or image processing
