The Swans Nest Hotel is a 72 bedroom hotel situated minutes from the heart of Stratford upon Avon.
We are looking for a part time (3 days per week) finance assistant to join our small, friendly team.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in the following areas, preferably gained within an hotel environment.
- Working closely with a central (head office) finance team
- Preparation of hotel P&L monthly accounts
- Raising sales ledger invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Ordering supplies
- Processing of employee expenses
- Petty cash transactions and record keeping
- Payroll administration
- Employee file maintenance including issuing and collecting signed policy documents, obtaining proof of right to work in the UK etc.
- Assisting with the preparation of employment offers
- Assisting with general guest enquiries
We are looking for someone who is happy to multi task and willing to assist other departments when necessary.
