Our client is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team at their veterinary practice in Bridgend, South Wales.
Role and Benefits
The Veterinary Practice
They are one of the few independent practices remaining in Wales owned by vets working within the practice. They are a busy and progressive Small Animal practice with a purpose-built hospital (Fully RCVS Accredited) and 3 local branches.
As a practice they aim to provide high standards for their patients, with very few cases
being referred out of the practice.
The Nursing Team
The nursing team is essential to assist the practice in delivering a gold standard of care to their clients and patients. They have a strong, diverse and vibrant nursing team consisting of 8 qualified nurses and 8 student nurses.
As a training practice, they promote further development of their clinical skills and through in-house training, external CPD and supporting nursing certificate courses.
The practice believes that continuity of care is essential for any veterinary hospital and therefore provide their own out of hours’ coverage to enable them to deliver 24/7 care. This essential around the clock care is delivered by their nursing team on a rota basis covering weekend and nights shifts.
