Opened in 1993 and close to the centre of Haywards Heath, the Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital provides a wide range of medical services from minor procedures through to major surgical specialties. With three theatres, comprehensive outpatient facilities and 26 en-suite beds, ours is a well-planned hospital with a clean, modern environment.

The Role

As a Medical Records Administrator your varied responsibilities will range from filing, retrieval, archiving, manual handling, complete electronic and manual data entry/record keeping and ensure medical records are accurate and up to date. Scan patient notes into the hospital system.

You will liaise closely with hospital departments to provide an effective service for the hospital and its consultants, in delivery of hospital notes throughout the building.

You will need to be a confident and customer-focused communicator with the ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data, and to present it in a timely and professional manner. Experience within a healthcare administration or a relevant record management environment would be preferable.

  • Good organisation and analytical skills
  • Experience of working in a health care environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology

Salary: £9.00 per hour

Hours - Part time, 15 hours per week

Location - Haywards Heath
