Finance Analyst

As Finance Analyst, your role will be responsible for various analytical and financial reporting duties within the accountancy function. Accountability's for this role include:

• Producing the monthly management packs (including P&L, cash flow, commentary, variance analysis, reconciliations)

• Month end close processes including journal postings, reconciliations

• Preparing the annual budget for a subsidiary within the business, with reforecasting and variance analysis on a monthly basis

• Cash flow forecasting and reporting

• Monthly VAT returns, EC sales and Intrastat

• Assist in the year end audit process with external auditors

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

• Part qualified CIMA / ACCA and actively studying

• Experience working in a analytical role

• Proficient in Excel - able to extract and manipulate large volumes of data

• Excellent numeracy skills and well organised

• Excellent communication skills and able to build relationships with key stakeholders

• Strong problem solving ability and able to use initiative to help analyse data and identify risks/opportunities
• Drive and hungry to progress

• £30,000-33,000 salary
