OVERVIEW OF ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide a professional and high quality reception service for the Doncaster Same Day Health Centre and/or the Urgent Care Centre/out of hours service.
To greet patients and process information received accurately
To be able to gather information received from patients accurately and concisely
To be able to assess deterioration of patients in the waiting room
Ensuring full patient confidentiality at all times
To work effectively under pressure in a calm and confident manner
To maintain a consistent, quality and professional service
To work individually or as part of a team
To undertake all relevant training consistent with the requirements of the post
To be able to work evenings, weekends, overnights and bank holidays
Develop and maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
To work in collaboration with all services that work in the Urgent Care Health Economy
To recognise the importance of patient experience and value patient feedback.
Closely monitor and continually seek improvement to all areas of patient/customer satisfaction to ensure the highest attainable standards are met at all times.
