Locality Manager/Head of Mental Health Service (Slough)
A joint post between Slough Borough Council and Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, this is an exciting and challenging opportunity to lead integrated community mental health services for adults and older adults, including overseeing the development of a new primary care mental health service.
Based in Slough, you will be part of an experienced and supportive mental health management team in BHFT, and part of the senior management team within Slough Borough Council. You will manage established teams for working age and older adults in the locality, delivering safe, effective services and contributing to mental health development and innovations on behalf of the Local Authority and the Trust, and in line with the Frimley ICS and national agendas.
Applicants should be an experienced and confident Band 8 manager or Local Authority equivalent, with a proven ability to rise to a challenge, and a passion to promote integrated services and to make a difference to mental health service users and carers.
