Latham & Watkins, a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world, is seeking a Global Learning and Development Senior Manager to join our dynamic Human Resources team in London.

As the global outbreak of COVID-19 continues to unfold, Latham has taken precautions to help protect our people, clients, and the communities where we live and work. About the team

The Global Learning and Development team is global team of Learning and Development professionals who are relentlessly working to build knowledge skills and abilities of all Latham Colleagues through innovative methods. The team is spread globally and is built on collaboration, collective intelligence, trust and having fun!

About the role

As a Global Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing and developing new training courses, as well as reviewing and/or updating current courses for our Business Services population primarily. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and preparing training materials that include leader’s guide, participant workbooks, and visual aids such as PowerPoint presentations
  • Assisting in identifying training needs, and providing training solutions for the Firm
  • Measuring transfer of learning and training impact by creating and implementing multi-level evaluations
  • Facilitating HR related classroom courses to a diverse population
  • Contributing to the identification and creation process of new learning opportunities outside the classroom, such as using multi-media devises, e-learning, etc.

About you

  • Display strong knowledge of and proven proficiency in adult learning

  • Are keen to make an impact on learning and development for our Business Services population

And have:

  • Coaching experience would be a strong advantage
  • Experience in learning and development
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Learning Management Systems, as well as experience designing and facilitating virtual learning
  • Outstanding project management skills demonstrated across multiple locations, cultures, and matrixed organizations
