Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or Youth Worker looking for a new and exciting opportunity?

Tradewind recruitment is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school in Enfield from October HT 2020 or potentially earlier. This role will initially be for Term 1 (December 2020) with the view to extend. In this role, you will be working with key students across KS3 to KS4 who have been identified with SEND. Typically, the students in this school are from a disadvantaged or vulnerable background and the sort of person that would suit this role is a caring and nurturing individual who can easily build a rapport and act as a mentor.

A san inclusive school you will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis with students throughout this day, in class and out, providing both academic and pastoral support.

Working hours are 8:15am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The school is looking for:
-Previous experience working within a Secondary school setting is preferred but not essential
-Experience working with students with either SEN or challenging behaviour
-Experience working at a behaviour mentor
-A Psychology degree or similar
-Candidates with a youth working background are encouraged to apply

The school is located in Enfield with excellent access to public transport links but this school alo has parking.
