As HR Director, you own the overall HR strategy and execution for UK, Ireland & Nordics. Your main focus will be on the Commercial organisation and you will have oversight of all plants and sites in the region, covering about 2'200 employees.
In this role, you will be the trusted partner to the region's Country General Managers and their leadership teams, as well as a member of the Commercial Leadership Team and the EMEA HR Leadership Team.
You will provide insight into talent management decisions, support leaders in driving people and capability objectives, and provide a full range of strategic HR Business partner support to the client groups. As part of the HRLT in EMEA, the role also participates to and drives pan-EMEA initiatives, collaborating on design, development, introduction and/or integration of HR processes, practices, programs and initiatives that contribute to individual and company success.
Some of your other responsibilities include:
Providing leadership organisational effectiveness & development - partnering with leaders to identify and resolve the business needs. Leading and support client groups with organisational capability and capacity analyses and strategic workforce planning, organisation design, associate engagement.
Talent Management and Acquisition - Supporting leaders to fill competency gaps as well as partnering with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams to attract and secure top talent for BD.
Compensation - providing consultative advice on compensation and facilitate reviews, benchmarking and reward setting.
Associate Engagement and Relations - guiding managers and providing strategic HR advisory support for any employee issues including works council and performance. Utilising data and metrics to drive engagement and outcomes, look for trends and root cause assess and improve satisfaction.
Management of the HR team - lead and continue building our highly capable HR team across UK, Ireland & Nordics, making sure both the strategic objectives and country compliance priorities are executed and accounted for.
You have worked in a major, global corporation and have a demonstrable experience in HR leadership roles that required managing change, strategic business partnering, organisational effectiveness/development, employment law, positive employee relations among others.
You have experience navigating a matrix structure and partnering with diverse client groups (manufacturing would be a plus), with proven success in translating ambiguous business needs into strategies and concrete team and individual development action.
You are a highly pro-active and strategic HR leader capable of providing true business partnering to our leaders. In our dynamic and rapidly transforming organisation, you will also need to be a real change agent, able to make an impact by bringing and delivering fresh approaches and ideas.
Experience in employee relations and works council management and strategy
Global experience is preferred as well as understanding and experience with several countries in Europe.
Analytical skills demonstrating the ability to extract, format, analyse and interpret data
BS/BA degree in Business Administration, HR Management or related field required. An MBA/ Masters in HR or equivalent is a plus.
