Customer Account Manager / Service Sales
Up to £35,000 per annum
My client are a leading organisation supplying capital equipment to the packaging and production industries; food, pharmaceutical and consumer goods. Their machinery include X-RAY, Check-Weigh and Metal Detection, excitingly they seek a customer account manager who is keen to explore the opportunity of direct sales and business development within this niche industry.
This role is a remote role with attendance at client sites being your primary responsibility, closing new business sales of capital equipment whilst account managing your contacts and taking direction from senior sales managers within the business to explore new markets and increase your additional sales. You will apply your technical knowledge, therefore some understanding of the equipment is essential to progress with this role.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential skills for the interest of our client would be your service and account management skill set from the food processing, production processing and/or packaging environment, specifically related to capital equipment within the manufacturing sites. Customer Service with some sales is also essential as it your ability to manage new client enquiries from initial request through to completion. You will be directed and trained by senior sales staff within the business, this is a role to work closely with senior members of the team to establish yourself as a new business development manager as a progression.
Desirable skill set would include direct working knowledge of process and packaging equipment, such as X-Ray, Check-Weigh and Metal Detection machinery. Engineers and service contract managers are encouraged to apply should you wish to seek a new role within your field of expertise.
Please note: this is a developing role, my client do not seek any more then 5-6 years exposure working within the industry. This is due to the position within the business and the aim to train and develop the new employee to work closely with the technical systems of their own manufactured band of equipment. This role is also going to be 70% remote based with internal offer support for appointments and sales progression, please ensure you are able to travel and wish to explore your career within this sector.
