A privately owned care home in the outskirts of Edinburgh currently requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) to work as Deputy Manager.
The home already has an experienced and dedicated care team in place and provides a high standard of round the clock elderly and dementia care.
Details of this Deputy Manager position as follows:
• A permanent contract of 42 hours per week
• A great hourly pay rate offered at £19.06 per hour (equates to NHS Band 6)
• Days only
• A fantastic working environment in a quality assurance award winning home
As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home and will lead the home in their absence. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the planning and delivery of care and will ensure care plans and medication records are correctly updated. You will also play a key role in the management and support of staff within the home.

• NMC registered
• Adult/RGN, Mental Health/RMN or Learning Disabilities/RNLD nurse qualification
• Nursing experience essential
• Passionate about high standards and providing care without compromise

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
