Purchase Ledger Clerk | 6 month FTC | Up to £23000 | Onsite parking | Hybrid working
Your new company
You will be joining a fast paced manufacturing business in Nelson, Lancashire who have demonstrated exponential levels of growth throughout the past 12 months. Due to an increase in business, they are now seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a 6 month temporary contract.
Your new role
In your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and be responsible for the accurate processing of 500+ invoices per week. Your role will also include statement reconciliation, bank reconciliation and managing any supplier queries. Alongside this, you will be involved in all month end processes, preparing accruals and BACS payments. The ability to build relationships is key in this position, as you will be responsible for developing and managing their supplier base. This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you should have extensive experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts background with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Sage experience is highly desirable, however not essential. You will be immediately available and be able to commit for a minimum of 6 months.

In return for this, you will be offered a salary up to £23000 alongside a number of softer benefits inclusive of holiday pay and onsite parking. You will also have the benefit of hybrid working, being based at home for a minimum of 2 days per week. After the 6 months, there is a high chance this role will become permanent.
