Case Worker - Countywide HCC45195

£20,830- £23,411 pro rata per annum (Pending Pay Award)


The Role:

We have excellent opportunities available for case workers to join our Adults Social Care Mental Health and Substance Misuse teams and our newly developed Integrated Care Team (ICT) across Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your experience of working with individuals experiencing difficulties with their mental wellbeing and dependency on substances.

In this role you will be required to work directly with the public, supporting enhancing individual well-being, personal outcomes and safety by using a Strengths Based approach, under the regular supervision of a qualified worker and in accordance with social care legislation and council policies.

You will hold your own caseload, working within a specified local area or across the county, providing support to your colleagues where appropriate.

About you

You will have a passion for delivering positive outcomes in addition to an ability to recognise problems, identify solutions and negotiate situations. We work with a variety of different professions to achieve a holistic approach to assisting clients with their wellbeing.

As a case worker you will have good interpersonal and organisational skills, which you will develop whilst meeting with individuals and carers to identify suitable outcomes, working with them to complete support plans which promote wellbeing. You will have an ability to prioritise your work and respond flexibly to competing demands.

You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire, and it is essential that you have a current drivers’ licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
