Your new role
You will support the Head of Campaigns & Events to plan, schedule and coordinate a programme of activities on key themes such as; Leadership, Skills, Climate Action, Networking and Business Policy Briefings with VIP Ministerial guests. This will involve research and development on knowledge of businesses, sectors and policy issues affecting them, in order to develop high quality, relevant concepts, content and themes to engage and support. You will work with the Communications team to effectively schedule, market and promote Campaigns and Events. You will Identify and actively target relevant businesses to attend specific events. You will be responsible for overall event management and delivery end to end; from arranging all logistics to securing speakers, sponsors etc and managing stakeholder relationships. This will also involve managing and reporting on budgets. You will identify potential new partnerships and secure sponsorship in line with company objectives and Support on partner/sponsor management through writing proposals and reports, drafting contracts and delivering on contract KPI’s. You will deliver the highest quality service, driving customer satisfaction. Includes responsibility for conducting, analysing and reporting on feedback, making recommendations for continuous improvements.

What you'll need to succeed
Essential

  • Educated to degree level

Or

  • Have equivalent or relevant work experience of a minimum 2 year period
  • Previous demonstrable experience in project/event management and marketing to include developing content
  • Demonstrable experience using Microsoft Office and CRM software packages
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with a willingness to work flexibly and manage a variety of tasks
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Willingness to work flexibly and manage a number of tasks simultaneously

Desirable

  • Evidence of business network within NI
  • A working knowledge of businesses/sectors across the region and current relevant issues/ challenges
  • Sales experience
