Area Support Chaplain based at South West England and South Wales
Available Hours: Permanent - Part Time - 12 hours per week.
This role is based in South West England and South Wales.
Methodist Homes - MHA are recruiting for 10 newly created roles across the U.K within our Chaplaincy & Spirituality team for Area Support Chaplain. Reporting directly into Head of Chaplaincy, the role will be working 12 hours per week on a permanent contract.
As an Area Support Chaplain your role is to support our chaplains and their managers within your designated area, by growing and nurturing relationships between different parts of MHA, through regular phone calls, annual chaplains' working agreements, group video-calls and face to face meetings. To build and strengthen connections between MHA and other organisations including the Methodist Church and other local churches, faith and belief communities. To promote MHA amongst other local faith and belief communities through networking and speaking engagements and to organise and deliver relevant training, alone or in collaboration with Methodist Training Officers or others, for MHA chaplains and others working with people in later life.
