Job Description

Mitie has a great opportunity for a Security Team Leader, based with one of our prestigious customers. This is a permanent role reporting into the Account Manager.

Main Duties

  • To be responsible for the day to day operation of Security and ensure a professional service to colleagues and guests.
  • Be the first point of contact for the Security Services team and deal with day to day matters such as standards of dress, discipline, and conduct are met and adhered to.
  • Ensure all incidents and issues reported are logged, escalated and managed through to resolution.
  • Respond and manage the EMEA Security Services Centre and escalate any news or risks that may have an impact on colleagues to the Global Security Services team.
  • Assist in on-going development and mentoring of team members.
  • Ensure all Security Services Team Members are fully conversant with the standard operating and emergency procedures, ensuring an appropriate and professionally managed response to any situation that arises.

  • Develop teamwork within the workforce, ensuring high morale through effective motivational methods.
  • Assist in review of Security Team Members' performance and development.
  • To assist in any security / equipment investigations, i.e. thefts, missing items, complaints etc.
  • Develop and promote good internal relations with peers to deliver a seamless, professional service.
  • Ensure the security team are compliant with all relevant legislation on data protection.
  • Ensure exemplary leadership conduct that inspires others.
