This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.

The post holder will lead, coordinate and facilitate the risk management programme within Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in line with NHS Lothian Clinical Governance and Incident Management Procedures. The post holder will report to the RIE Business Manager and will support the clinical leadership team in incident investigation, management of Datix reporting and maintenance of the Risk Register ensuring lessons learned are effectively communicated within the service.
