Description

Our well established client in Sussex are recruiting for a People Team Administrator.

In this role you will provide PA support to the Group Director of People including extensive diary management, preparing presentations, processing expenses, processing invoices, drafting and supporting the preparation of papers for meetings. As required, provide effective, on time, HR administration support to the People team across the full HR remit. Ensure record keeping is up to date, accurate and compliant with internal policies and regulatory/ legal guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for Group Director of People's diary management and the department's day to day administration including post, stationery ordering and routine correspondence. Proactively monitor executive schedules to make effective use of the Group Director of People's time
Act as the departments Office manager including planning, co-ordinating and attending team meetings to take minutes
Support the end to end recruitment process including updating trackers and HR database
Co-ordination of new staff onboarding process e.g. new starter admin
Prepare and maintain accurate checklists for various employee processes e.g. maternity, end of probation, leaver, flexible working requests etc
Ensure trackers are kept updated and accurate and are visible to the team, with any areas of risk immediately escalated
Process People team invoices

Ideal candidate will fulfil the following:

Financial services experience (desirable not essential)
Sage People system experience (desirable not essential)
CIPD Level 3 or willing to work towards
HR or recruitment administration experience
HR systems experience
Previous experience of candidate referencing and preferably Experian
Awareness of latest employment legislation and key issues around immigration
