Principal Planning Officer

£35 - £45 per hour + Negotiable

A Local Authority in the lovely area of Oxfordshire are looking to welcome an experienced Principal Planning Officer to their team. This is on an initial 3-6 month contract, likely to be extended.

The council are looking to recruit an individual who can hit the ground running working on complex, large scale strategic residential and multi-use sites. The suitable candidate will have experience of negotiating complex S106 Agreements and mentoring junior members of staff. A Town Planning related degree or diploma, and exceptional written and communication skills are essential.

The rate is dependent on previous experience. This role is completely remote working; however you will have to travel to the area for site visits. You will need to have a full driver's licence and access to a car for site visits. This position is full time (37 hours.)
