In this new exciting position you will be required to drive the Energy Transition in Buildings (ETiB) sales process in your designated territory, leverage the sales support organization,in particular dedicated Sales Application Engineers, use all available sales enablement tools put at your disposal to create the related value propositions for the customer, and generate sales. You will discover and qualify sales opportunities in all segments where ETiB will play an important role. You will be strongly engaged in supporting the launch and sales growth activities of Eaton new ETiB offering including the related energy management offers, a major strategic initiative closely linked with the ET&R segment. As the systems related to energy transition are a discretionary investment for customers, the promotional and sales methods used will focus on helping the customers understand the issues and opportunities they will be facing in their de-carbonization journey, while helping the traditional buildings ecosystem (developers, consultants, installers etc.) in the deployment of the new energy management technologies. The relevant value sales methods require a focus on story-telling, structured interviews with end-customers during the discovery phase. To do this you will determine the right questions to ask the customers, identify which information matters most in their purchasing decision and use a "Consultative & Sense Making" selling approach. As the Business Development Manager you will: - Identify and develop large projects in the ETiB Segment (Lead generation) and be responsible for developing a sustainable pipeline for 1-3 years, having a high focus on closing sales assigned as per each year profit plan - Develop the business opportunities for the ETiB customer portfolio, within segments such as commercial buildings, residential buildings, industry, infrastructure, utility segments etc. - Create strong relationships for ongoing projects, together and with the support of the Application Engineers,designers, general contractors, installers, investors.You will also be responsible for specifying Eaton ETiB requirements, being able to lead the full cycle of the projects. - You will contributes to entire Eaton ETiB team effort by accomplishing related results and enabling business development opportunities across the organization, constantly feeding back valuable customer and market information in the organization, engineering, marketing Qualifications Do you have? - Ideally A Bachelor's / Master's Degree in a relevant subject - Extensive sales experience, with proven record of success in driving B2B sales where diagnosing complex customer needs is critical (ideally electrical area, however other relevant experiences will be considered) - Experience with electrical products is a plus. Understanding of basic financial concepts such as Capex, Opex, ROI, P&L. Familiar with modern sales techniques: value sales, challenger sales gap selling, SPIN Selling, BANT etc. Then we want to hear about you!
