Job: Lettings Consultant

Location: Ealing, West London

Salary: Basic (depending on level of experience) plus uncapped commission; OTE £34,000 p.a.

Working pattern: This is a full time position for 5 days per week, to include Saturdays on a rota basis.

Townends Estate Agents offer the complete property solution including residential sales, lettings and management, mortgages and protection, conveyancing, surveying and property maintenance and refurbishment. We are in a unique position with prime high street presence covering West, South West and South London. The branch locations give us a distinct advantage when it comes to assisting buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords, and in this instance we are currently looking for a Lettings Consultant to join our excellent Ealing branch.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Lettings Negotiator would be preferable
• Proven track of successful sales record
• A strong understanding of the residential lettings sector, the local lettings market, key legislation influencing the industry and marketing and sales strategies
• A good understanding of the role of a Lettings Consultant within the residential lettings sector, the processes and responsibilities regards contracts/tenancy agreements, deposits, invoices, arrears, tenancies etc.
• Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
• Pleasant and trustworthy
• MS Office familiarity
• Valid UK driving licence (manual)
