What you will do a Pre-Assessment Nurse:
• Undertake a full assessment of your patient to ensure that they are fit for their surgery – liaising with all clinical departments to coordinate pre-operative tests as needed • Support your patients prior to surgery, answering their questions and talking through what to expect post-surgery and through their recovery - good communication skills are vital for this post. • You must have an active NMC registration and a proven track record working within pre-assessment.
