What will I be doing?

Job Objectives

Support the Director of Revenue Analysts to create, maintain and manage a qualified and effective team of Revenue Analysts within both the commercial and technical analyst teams, and support their development and career progression, including direct line management responsibility

•Ensure the team create, update and share the full suite of RMCC reporting on a daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc basis to all relevant parties

•Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures

•Ensure consistent processes & procedures for all hotels being managed in RMCC by covering all Revenue Analysts' production tasks as and when necessary

•Drive the innovation of the Revenue Analyst department by engaging in project work and responsibilities that actively enhance the performance and scope of the Revenue Analyst Team's capabilities

•Support the successful completion of all objectives linked to the Revenue Analysts and RMCC Strategic Frameworks

•Maintain the reputation of RMCC with all its stakeholders by managing expectations in a clear and consistent fashion

Specific Accountabilities in the Management of Analyst Operations:

Commercial Framework

Ensure the team of Revenue Analysts update, process, generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports

Financial and Management Report s

•Ensure the correct and timely distribution of financial reports to the Senior Management

•Manage the preparation of all weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports for the Senior Management team in an accurate and timely manner using appropriate systems and tools

•Develop new and ad hoc reports as required to assist in the preparation for revenue management meetings or data analysis

Financial and Management Reports

•Ensure the correct and timely distribution of financial reports to the Senior Management

•Manage the preparation of all weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports for the Senior Management team in an accurate and timely manner using appropriate systems and tools

•Develop new and ad hoc reports as required to assist in the preparation for revenue management meetings or data analysis

Daily Operations

•Support the creation of Daily Detail revenue reports from IDeaS, On Q PM, Sales Systems, The Lobby, STR, Rubicon, as prescribed in the RMCC Standard Operating Procedures

•Assist in the production of Month end reports

•Perform Data entry into various systems, including Excel, Access and On Q R&I, Cognos, STR

•Ensure the preparation of reports and other materials for regular meetings and business processes, including but not confined to Daily Detail Meeting, Business Focus Meetings, Group Availability Meetings, Weekly and Monthly Forecast reviews, Commercial Focus Meetings, Monthly Analysis and Quarterly Audits, Centre of Excellence audits, yearly budgets.

•Liaise with and support Reporting Services and delivery of their reports as part of the programme.

•These specific accountabilities are non-exhaustive and from time to time you will be requested to carry out other reasonable requests

Project Management

•Identify opportunities for and manage the creation and implementation of new tools, systems and processes into the business, as well as reviewing existing resources for maximum effectiveness.

•Drive continuous and appropriate focus on research and development in line with RMCC strategic objectives and vision.

•Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

•Works closely with relevant stakeholders, constantly monitor and report on progress to ensure effective and efficient implementation of projects

•Manage the pre-boarding preparation for new hotels entering RMCC

Strategic Framework

Ensure the team of Revenue Analysts develops and implements a Strategic Framework in line with RMCC and Hilton Worldwide objectives

•Identify, create, manage and successfully implement projects as part of the Revenue Analysts Strategic Framework.

•Support the RMCC Senior Management team and work towards the delivery of RMCC Big Rocks, ensuring that these goals are clarified for the Revenue Analyst team and their individual goals are aligned.

•Manage and deliver key priorities agreed to the delivery dates and liaise with key stakeholders accordingly.

••Assist the Senior Manager of Revenue Analysts with the continuous improvement of the Revenue Analyst team and the processes, procedures and systems used by the team to ensure maximum effectiveness, efficiency and productivity to drive revenue.

Team Management, Training and Development

Effectively manages the team and provides training and coaching to current and new employees to improve performance and to meet the current and future needs of the business



•Manage the development of the Revenue Analyst team, including direct line responsibility for the Senior Manager of Revenue Analysts.

•Carry out regular performance reviews with direct reports to identify risks and development needs.

•Actively participate in the design of training and development plans and programmes which are based on a systematic identification of personal and business needs.

•Carry out specialist training as appropriate, managing performance issues with the team or individuals as required.

•Evaluate the impact training is having on the team's skills and business performance within the specialist areas identified and put in place appropriate plans to improve or develop this as necessary.

•Support the Senior Manager of Revenue Analysts in conducting the PDR and merit review process for the Revenue Analysts team, including team development and objective setting process

• Hotel School / Apprenticeship or Graduate Training or other degree level education or experience in lieu of

• Hotel commercial experience

• Team Management experience

• Practical working experience in an area or corporate office relating to distribution or revenue management

• Skills in VBA & SQL coding languages

• Python

• Experience with PMS - OnQ

• Experience with RMS - IDeaS
