You will be responsible for cleaning designated areas, ensuring that they are maintained to a clean and hygienic standard. Your duties will include general cleaning in designated areas, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, buffing with industrial equipment and cleaning of sanitary areas.
Before confirming appointment you will be required to obtain PVG Scheme Membership through Disclosure Scotland.
“Cleaning, washing and … polishing” includes the use of approved cleaning agents.
“Fixtures and Fittings” include all facilities within the establishment such as cabinets, internal glass, curtains, blinds and telephones.
Keys may be held by a Cleaner, for the purpose of entering and leaving areas which require to be cleaned.
'Where alarms are present there may also be a requirement to switch the alarm off when entering the building or setting the alarm when exiting.'
