Funding eligibility requires that applicants are aged between 16 and 24 years at commencement of the Modern Apprentice programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a Modern Apprenticeship at Fife College where you will not only study for an accredited qualification but also gain new and enhanced skills.
Throughout your Modern Apprenticeship with us, you will work towards completing a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Business and Administration SCQF Level 6. You will be responsible for working towards your qualification and for completing any work based assignments.
In this role, you will provide support for activity within the Developing Young Workforce Partnerships (DYWP) team including the areas of School College Partnership, Skills Development Scotland Apprenticeships and First Chances Fife.
Assisting the DYWP team, lecturers and students in the planning and during scheduled activities on College campuses and at partner schools will be key to this role as well as supporting groups of our students to carry out activities, as directed by SCP Co-ordinators and teaching staff.
You must have minimum of 4 National 5 awards at C or above or 4 Standard Grades at 1, 2 or 3. In addition, you must have experience in current working procedures and practices relevant to ICT, business and administration.
Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team are essential.
