• As a key member in the Architecture team the Cyber Solution Architect will research and select security tools to address business requirements and security risks • Produce solution option reviews and high-level designs for security solutions • As an architect they will provide security ownership and for security specific solutions technical ownership for the end to end solution delivery • Provide advice and guidance to other architecture and programme/Technology colleagues on security matters, ensuring that security is considered and integrated into all Severn Trent solutions and business change initiatives • Proactively identify opportunities to deliver innovative and cost-effective security solutions, shaping them to ensure that they are simple to use and support • Work closely with the Enterprise Architect responsible for Security to ensure that solutions align to the security strategyThe skills and experience required to be successful.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in security architecture and in the delivery of compliance projects/programmes such as PCI DSS, GDPR & NIS-R. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, and have an enthusiasm for your field combined with a passion to learn. Furthermore, we're looking for somebody with significant experience in security technology including: -Vulnerability management solutions -Data Loss Prevention technology (DLP) -Data marking and classification technology and methodologies -Endpoint Protection -Web and Email filtering -Privileged Access Management/Privileged Identity Management -Network Access Control -Cloud Access Security BrokerQualifications:
At least one of the following certifications is required: • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) • SABSA Chartered Security Architect – Practitioner Level (or higher) Holding one or more of the following qualifications/certifications is desired: • Master’s degree in Information Security Management (or equivalent experience) • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer • Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) • Risk management certification (such as Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or Certificate in Information Risk Management (BCS)) • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) • Certified Information Security (CISM) • Togaf CertifiedSevern Tent benefits include…
