An exciting opportunity to join an established marketing team working a B2B environment. This is a broad ranging role, perfect for someone looking to broaden their marketing experience and/or loves to have a wide and varied marketing communications role.

As a Channel Marketing Executive you will work closely with the marketing manager and marketing team to deliver a communications plan and marketing strategy to engage various customer segments. This includes consumers, retailers, installers and key vertical sectors e.g. house builders. The role will also have an element of managing third party suppliers including creative agencies and print companies to deliver printed materials and point of sale.

You will also be responsible for the creation of marketing campaigns aimed at driving revenues and market awareness of the various product categories. The role is ideal for someone looking for the next challenge in their marketing career and enjoys working in the B2B environment and marketing products. The successful candidate will need to be confident, self-motivated and enjoy managing numerous priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the marketing communications strategy and plan to support the growth in sales from the retail, distribution and contracts market.
  • Manage the retail led 'Showrooms of Excellence’ programme including keeping the relevant customer databases up to date
  • Work closely with the sales manager and portfolio manager to create compelling campaigns to drive product awareness and revenues
  • Organise and manage high profile events with key existing or prospective customers
  • Producing timely and relevant information and newsletters - good copy writing skills are key
  • Managing third party agencies e.g. creative agencies to deliver the various print media
  • Liaising with the sales team and helping out with any additional marketing related requests

Skills and Experience:

  • Over 2 years marketing experience in a B2B environment, ideally in the bathrooms, kitchens or bedrooms sector.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a number of different priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient at using all the Microsoft office suite of products (with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Experience of using SAP or similar
  • CIM marketing qualification required
  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator experience
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Experience in business/product related field
