We are seeking full and part time experienced and non experienced Support Workers for our home in St Albans.
You'll be a Support Worker helping us to create a relaxed and homely environment for adults with multiple learning and physical disabilities.
The people who make their home here (aged mid-twenties to mid-sixties) will need support with a range of activities from the everyday living needs and ‘must dos’ such as assisting with medications, intimate care and feeding (which is sometimes via a peg tube), attending appointments, and maintaining relationships with thier family and friends online.
Once we can all get out a bit more, we're usually supporting with other activities such as; swimming, arts and crafts, eating out, parties or just getting out and about locally in their mini-bus.
Staff share mealtimes with people we support, cooking beautiful food which everyone enjoys. We have a multi-disciplinary staff team plus registered nurses who are on shift at all times so you will always be supported too.
Working patterns
We have full-time (37.5 hours a week) and part-time (various) roles available.
You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
There are no sleep-ins or night shifts.

You must be a driver with a manual licence, as you will be driving service vehicles.
