Base: Belfast

Contract: Full-Time/Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week

Rutledge Training Ltd is a leading training organisation, with 15 sites across Northern Ireland. We specialise in government-funded training programmes (Training for Success, and ApprenticeshipNI), as well as corporate and private training.

Due to increasing business, we have an opportunity for a fully-qualified Essential Skills Tutor to join our team in Belfast. The sucessful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the Essential Skills qualification; ideally qualified to deliver Numeracy, Literacy, and ICT. Candidates who are qualified in one or more of the Essential Skills qualification will also be considered.

The Essential Mix:

Ø GCSE/Level 2 Maths and English (Grade A*- C)

Ø A Degree in the subject specialism (Numeracy, Literacy, ICT)

Ø Registration with the GTCNI

Ø Recognised Teaching Qualification OR Achievement of the Certificate in Teaching (Yr 1 of the PGCE) within one year *

Ø Full Driving License and Access to Transport for business use

Ø Excellent organisational skills

Ø An enthusiastic and driven character with the ability to communicate on all levels

Ø Desire to live and breathe company core values

*Existing Essential Skills Tutors recognised as qualified by the Department prior to 1st August 2012 and currently in employment will retain this recognition.
