We are looking for the Head of Cyber and Physical Security to be based in our Grange Park 1 site (NN4 5FB) or the Oakwood office (NG15 0DS), working remotely up to 4 days per week (subject to business requirements).
The position holder will provide strategic leadership and operational management support in the development and provision of robust physical and cyber/information security, along with implementation of effective disaster recovery and business continuity management plans.
The role will offer a salary of £62,000-80,000, a company car/car allowance (£8,000), private healthcare and a bonus (10%).
Key responsibilities: 1. Cyber and Information Security a. Conduct of cyber security risk assessments and the implementation of effective controls to mitigate the identified risks. b. Promoting responsible behaviour to ensure all staff are protecting against external threats. c. Develop systems and process to deliver compliance with ISO 27001 ensuring that the system mitigates the associated risk related to GDPR compliance and the principles of CIA.
2. Physical Security a. Review of physical security risks across the Yusen business and ensuring that physical security is sufficient to mitigate the assessed risk. b. Provision of specialist security advice to Regional General Managers and site managers and where required to customers. c. Oversight and delivery of the physical security management system and audit programme.
3. Business Continuity a. Oversight and development of the Yusen UK BCM programme. b. Support to and development of site managers knowledge to ensure an effective response to a BC incident.
4. Disaster Recovery (DR) a. Develop the businesses DR strategy and implement appropriate DR plan to mitigate the associated risks. b. Ensure that the necessary equipment/technology is available to support the plan and that the plan has been effectively communicated.
5. Leadership and Management a. To be an effective member of the Risk and Compliance Team and to support the Deputy Director Risk and Compliance with the development of risk management across the business. b. Leadership of the security team.
Key requirements: • Demonstrable experience in Security and Resilience areas (cyber security, physical security, operational resilience, business continuity) from a fast pace organisational environment. • Strong grasp of physical and cyber security risk assessment and the security principles associated with networking, common operating systems, and components. Working knowledge of Cloud service models and security principles. • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build strong business relationships and drive action • Ability to challenge the thinking and perception of all levels of stakeholders, influencing behaviour and culture change. • Good planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills. • A resilient and highly motivated self-starter who relishes a challenge. • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Experience of task, resource and/or line management in a matrix operating environment. • CISSP and/or CISSM certification would be a bonus • ISO 22301:2019 Lead Implementer
