As an E2 Medical Administrator you will be responsible for the provision of a range of medical administration tasks within the healthcare facility at Royal Air Force (RAF) St Mawgan. The primary focus is to be the single point of contact (POC) on all aspects of medical administration including; reception, hospital appointments, patient queries, minute taking, stationary ordering and liaising with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Duties of the role include but aren't limited to:
• Acting as the single point of contact (POC) for various administration roles within the medical centre including; reception, hospital appointments, patient queries, pharmacy requests, stationary/stores requests, Military Transport (MT) requests and any other administration support.
• Creating clinics for the Senior Medical Officer (SMO) /Practice Nurse (PN) / Physiotherapist (Physio) and booking appointments effectively.
• Minuting and contributing to the practice meetings currently held once a week.
• Developing your own training plan and seeking guidance and training from the E1 Administration Supervisor.
• Working closely with the Practice Manager (PM) to implement any new administrative instructions.
• Taking a role on the various healthcare governance domains.
• Completing an Annual Performance Report in line with civil service reporting guidelines and keeping supporting evidence for Line Manager & Countersigning Officer.
• Completing and remaining in date for mandatory training as per DPHC guidance./nBehaviours
