Job Title: Assistant Manager – Thame (part-time)
Job Reports to: Shop Manager - Thame
Direct Reports: There is no responsibility for managing staff, but the Assistant Manager will work alongside the Shop Manager to support and lead a team of staff & volunteers.
Hours: 16 hours a week (2 days) plus additional cover for holiday and absence
Salary: £9 per hour (£7,509 per annum)
Closing date: Our shops are currently closed due to the Tier 4 restrictions. We’re hoping to have staff in place in time for when we reopen, so applications will still be processed and interviews arranged remotely while restrictions remain in place.
Job Purpose: To work with the Shop Manager & volunteers to engage support for FNHC from the local community, maximise sales and profits, and actively promote Gift Aid and the Hospice Lottery.
In the Shop Manager’s absence, assume responsibility for all aspects of managing the Thame Shop, and at all times positively promote and support the aims of the Charity.
