Senior Marketing Executive (National Chemical Emergency Centre)

The National Chemical Emergency Centre (NCEC) is the premier global chemical emergency response centre, which has been operating for over 40 years – supporting emergency services and private sector organisations with critical expert safety services and solutions.
NCEC is part of Ricardo Energy & Environment, a leading sustainability consultancy combining energy, climate change, environmental and chemical risk expertise with strong digital, policy and economics capability.
THE ROLE
The Marketing and Communications team are key to supporting delivery of marketing and business development activities. The activities delivered by the team have a direct and measurable impact on the performance on NCEC, and the Senior Marketing Executive is a key role in enabling the team to achieve its objectives. In this role you will develop and deliver tactical marketing activities to support the sales team with our Emergency Response service offering. This will involve developing marketing materials and campaigns in collaboration with our sales team and industry experts in creating new business development opportunities. This is a hands-on role which will require comprehensive experience of a full range of marketing activities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* To create lead and opportunity generation activities aligned with the objectives of the sales team
* To create reporting to senior management on the performance and value of marketing activities
* To create, manage and lead email campaign development and delivery
* To manage marketing information on CRM to ensure that is fit for purpose and up to date at all times
* To maintain website and social media accounts - including copy writing and page development (though CMS)
* To manage collateral development
* To develop and deliver webinars
* To work closely with other members of the marketing team, such as event management and design to achieve the marketing and sales objectives.

You will be supported by the Marketing Manager and subject matter experts, as well as a team of specialists in design, proofreading and PR, (though experience in these areas remains useful in the role).
KEY CAPABILITIES/COMPETENCIES
* Demonstrable experience of delivering lead generation focused marketing activities
* Organised with effective prioritisation skills.
* Experience of working with marketing tools e.g. CMS, CRM and email software
* Effective internal communications and stakeholder engagement
* Experience of working with technical products or services
* Good ‘user benefits focused’ copy-writing capabilities
