The purpose of this role is to ensure all company design files are kept accurate, organised and accessible whilst simultaneously delivering a high standard of artwork projects. You will be the guardian of all artwork, ensuring that brand guidelines are adhered to and that a clear system for storing and accessing files is maintained at all times.
For this role you must have a great art working ability, be a skilled multitasker and have excellent attention to detail. This is a brand-new role, so you have the potential to make it your own and grow within the company as they continue to expand.
Duties as an Artwork Coordinator will include:
·Create artwork briefs and liaise with freelance designers to ensure clear direction and on-time completion.
·Take accurate briefs of artwork projects and complete to the desired deadline
·Work on multiple artworking projects at once, prioritising accordingly
·Make amends to existing artwork files if required for repeat runs
·Ensure that artwork files are accurate for their particular export market
·Maintain a high level of accuracy and work to a high standard at all times
·Ownership of all files, maintain a clear and accurate database of all company artworks, ensuring that they are categorised clearly
·Critique artwork to ensure excellent standard are maintained
·Ensure that all designs adhere to the brand guidelines
·Improve efficiencies by using your initiative, coordination and administrative skills
The successful Artwork Coordinator will have the following qualities:
·1+ year of artworking coordination and project management experience
·A related degree would be desirable but not essential
·Strong communication skills at all levels
·A positive can-do attitude
·Ability to keep positive and self-motivate
·Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
·Highly organised with a methodical and systematic approach
·A responsible individual who takes ownership, but is always open and loves to learn and develop
